Much to Karin's shock, Ren is targeting Fumio as a potential victim, due to the stress her unhappiness causes; Karin plans to bite her again to repel Ren. Karin takes another part time job for the summer, discovering Fumio also got a job at the same place. However, Karin fails to bite her due to unforeseen interruptions. Losing track of Fumio one day, Karin bumps into Kenta and begins having her blood increase faster. Kenta leads Karin to secluded spot to avoid attracting attention. However, the build up of blood turns Karin feral and she pins him to the ground, ready to bite him.
